Bon voyage
On behalf of the Filipino workers on Saipan, Tinian, and Rota we would like to extend a warmest and sincere appreciation to attorney Dyan Kristine B. Miranda, the Philippine Consulate General’s consular assistant, property and legal officer, who is a very active and generous public servant to overseas Filipino workers, a great supporter of all Filipino community activities, and a great adviser to OFWs who are in dire need of legal services. Without her expertise and timely assistance in times when OFWs are in the midst of immigration issues and uncertainties, attorney Dyan was right behind us with her helping hand. The time has come to an end when a true and dedicated public servant bids goodbye to an entire constituent not only for economic reasons but to fulfill another task that awaits her back home. Congratulations for passing the Philippine Foreign Service Exam and thank you very much for being our legal mentor during the October Twenty One Movement (OTOM) attempt to extend the final regulation date of implementation in favor of all foreign workers, especially OFWs.
Good luck to your future endeavors. Rest assured that your legacy and your professionalism in the field of legal services here on this beautiful island of Saipan, Tinian, and Rota will always be on our minds. OFWs in the Northern Mariana Islands are very grateful of your kindness and generosity. Your accomplishment in taking care of Philippine Consulate legal matters will always be in our hearts and thoughts.
Bon voyage to you Dyan on your way back home to the Philippines and best wishes on your new chosen country to work and live. I behalf of MAFEA, Bicol Association, and OTOM in the Northern Mariana Islands, we will always remember you as a good friend and outstanding public servant and a great leader. Mabuhay ka kabayan! God Bless and more power!
