Bolivar to get new assignment

The Secretary of the Navy Ray Mabus and Chief of Naval Operations Adm. John M. Richardson announced Friday that Rear Adm. Babette Bolivar will be getting a new assignment.

Bolivar will be assigned as Commander, Navy Region Southeast, Jacksonville, Florida. Bolivar is currently serving as U.S. Pacific Command Representative, Guam, Commonwealth of the Northern

Mariana Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Republic of Palau; commander, U.S. Naval Forces, Marianas; and commander, Joint Region Marianas, Guam.

Rear Adm. Shoshana Chatfield will relieve Bolivar during a change of command ceremony scheduled for January. (Joint Region Marianas)
