BOH awards $25K to five Saipan businesses
Bank of Hawaii has named five small businesses on Saipan as recipients of the I Kinometi Para I Kumunidåt I Islå-ta Small Business Revitalization and Development Grants. Each awardee received $5,000.
Bank of Hawaii established the grant program in 2012 to help promote new Saipan businesses and to encourage existing small businesses to expand.
-3 Strand Christian Outlet will purchase dining room furniture, air conditioning and a new freezer to help with the expansion of its café.
– I.T.C. & Sons Hydroponic Farm will purchase inventory, fertilizer and equipment to expand its hydroponic lettuce operations.
-Rowin’s will purchase materials and hire new employees to manage and harvest 40 additional bee colonies in its wholesale honey production.
-SUP Saipan will purchase two additional stand-up paddleboards and hire a new instructor for its rental service.
-The Shack, Inc. will train and hire two new employees to expand its breakfast and lunch service hours.
