BOE declares November as PSS Education Month
Nov. 22 is Education Day Event honors theme and logo winners

With the winning theme, “Education Ignites You; Passion Motivates You; Success Awaits You,” the CNMI Board of Education has proclaimed the month of November “Public School System Education Month” and Nov. 22 “Education Day” for Saipan, Tinian and Rota.
This year marks 29 years since the creation of the Public School System.
Education leaders also honored this year’s competition winners in a ceremony at the BOE conference room on Capital Hill.
This year’s theme winner is Oleai Elementary School’s Danika Atalig and the Education Day logo winner is Dandan Middle School student Prinz Muniz.
BOE chair MaryLou Ada, along with by BOE vice chair Janice Marie A. Tenorio and board members Florine M. Hofchneider, Herman Guerrero, Herman Atalig, teacher representative Paul Miura, acting PSS Commissioner Glenn Muña and his management team, joined public school students, teachers, staff and school administrators in witnessing the ceremony.
