Blue Haus caging returns on May 12

The 2012 Blue Haus Invitational Basketball League is moving over to Garapan Basketball Court this year when its sophomore season kicks off on May 12.
Opening night begins at 5pm with an opening ceremony followed by a basketball doubleheader.
Last year’s inaugural season was held nearby at the Gualo Rai Basketball Court where Cell Pro reigned over 14 other squads.
However, there is a whole new mix of teams this time around.
A total of 14 teams make up this year’s field, which will be randomly split into A and B divisions via a raffle drawing held during the opening ceremony and parade of teams. Last year was formatted with three five-team divisions.
All teams are requested to be present and ready to play on opening night as the debut pairings will also be determined in the lottery.
In addition, a special Q&A session for the Best Muse competition will also take place where $50 will go to the winner.
Following the opening ceremony, the first game is set for 6pm with an 8:30pm night tiff.
This year’s competing teams include NVM, Suriban, Shirley’s Coffee Shop, Mawati, Mobil, Concept One/Tae Woo, Cargo Express, Satbahi, DLX Right Guard, Ashley, the Runnin’ Rebels, Hip Hop Thunder, Star Water, and Saipan Hardware.
Each team is allowed to recruit up to three Unified Basketball Association players.
