Blanco expects fruitful, harmonious working relationships with majority

Rep. Ivan A. Blanco (R-Saipan), who is now the minority bloc leader in the House of the Representatives, said they anticipate a fruitful and harmonious working relationship with the new majority group.

“The team intends to continue representing the voices of the underrepresented and underserved members of our community,” said Blanco after his selection as minority bloc leader Thursday.

Blanco thanked the members of the minority caucus for their confidence in trusting him to take lead.

The minority is composed of eight Republican Party members and one independent.

The majority is composed of eight Democrats, two independents, and one Republican.

Rep. Angel A. Demapan (R-Saipan), who is the minority bloc’s spokesperson, said they are confident in Blanco’s skills and abilities to lead their team in the 22nd House.
