Bistro Marianas offers Sunday brunch buffet

Bistro Marianas Restaurant & Bar is finally fulfilling the wishes of its many loyal customers by offering a Sunday brunch buffet beginning Aug. 22.
Reynaldo Faustino said that many customers have been asking him to start a brunch buffet even just on Sundays since he first opened the establishment inside the Chalan Kanoa Beach Hotel in early 2020.

The COVID-19 pandemic, however, put a damper on that plan, occurring not even a couple of months since he started operations. And just like that, Bistro Marianas Restaurant & Bar was shuttered for about a month. When it did reopen, hours were limited and food service was only for take-out, as per guidelines set by the Governor’s COVID-19 Task Force.
Now that the CNMI is at Level Green in the Community Vilnerability scale, Faustino believes it’s the perfect time to finally introduce a Sunday brunch buffet at Bistro Marianas Restaurant & Bar.
“It’s worth a try actually since the Sunday brunch buffet is cheap at $20. Nevertheless, we will still abide by the task force’s guidelines and protocols,” he said.
For starters, Bistro Marianas Restaurant & Bar’s Sunday brunch buffet will have for appetizers pork Thai salad, coco, kimchi, and soup. It will then have seven items in the main menu, including smoke baby ribs, sizzling squid, pork cutlet, chicken chop suey, chicken wings, spaghetti, and sushi. For dessert, fruits like watermelon or melon honeydew will be served.

Those who are leaning toward a more breakfast menu for Sunday brunch can have sunny side eggs and bacon, slice bread, cookies, and titiyas that Bistro Marianas Restaurant & Bar make themselves. For drinks, Faustino said they will be offering free-flowing coffee, hot tea, iced tea, and water.
Bistro Marianas Restaurant & Bar’ Sunday brunch buffet is open from 11am to 2pm. It costs $20 for adults, children ages 6 to 11 will only be charged $12, and it’s free of charge for children 5 years old and below. Each adult guest also gets either a glass of mimosa or two cans of Asahi for free.
