Bike and Run For Cure this weekend

The Commonwealth Cancer Association, in conjunction with the Triathlon Association of the CNMI, will host the Bike and Run for Cure this Saturday.
The Bike and Run for Cure will be held in observance of the Childhood and Prostate Cancer Awareness Month and is open to the community. Registration is $5 and all proceeds raised will go to the CCA.
Kick-off time is at 6am and the race will start at the American Memorial Park. The bike race will be from AMP to Banzai Cliff and back, while the run course is from AMP to the Gov. Eloy S. Inos Peace Park and back to the finish line.
This year’s Bike and Run For Cure is sponsored by the Make-A-Wish Foundation Guam/NMI, IT&E, American Memorial Park, TRAC, Konoa Resort Saipan, MARPAC, TanHoldings, DFS T-Galleria, Bank of Guam, and Fiesta Resort & Spa Saipan.
Pre Hell Series 2
Meanwhile, the Northern Mariana Islands Cycling Federation will be holding the Pre Hell of Marianas Series 2 on Oct. 6.
Start and finish lines will be across the Mariana Resort with bikers going to Mobil Tanapag, Radar Station, Suicide Cliff, Bird Island, Grotto, and Banzai Cliff.
Registration fee is $10 and sign up will begin at 5:30am. The race will start at 6:30am. (Kimberly A. Bautista)
