SAN JOSE, Tinian—The Bridge Investment Group team kicked off their fiesta weekend by collecting trash at the surrounding areas of the fiesta grounds. The company additionally sponsored and donated for various scheduled fiesta events.

Specifically, BIG assisted with the logistics for the annual American Red Cross walk-a-thon, which coincided with the fiesta weekend, donated four bicycle racks to the Biker’s Association of Tinian, or BAT, in time for their fourth Tour De Tinian race, and placed two trash trailers at the fiesta grounds for garbage disposal.

BIG also offered a $5,000 fishing derby grand prize for the team that catches a 500-lb billfish or bigger. Unfortunately, the biggest billfish caught was a little over 150 lbs. In addition, a trash trailer and tables were set up at the church grounds for Sunday’s brunch after the procession.

The company decided to do a bit more this year and donated $7,000 to the San Jose Church for needed church renovations.

“The funds will be used to renovate the sanctuary (altar) and the sacristy because they are termite-infested, replace broken glass doors and windows, replace hinges and door locks, repair the termite infested storage rooms, confessional box, restrooms and ceilings. We also hope to do some painting. The San Jose Parish Pastoral, finance council, and parishioners are very happy to receive the donation from Bridge Investment,” said Father Rey Rosal.

The annual celebration of the Tinian San Jose Fiesta commemorates and honors St. Joseph the worker. It is the influence of our dear patron that we live up to the essence of hard work and dedication. This is one of the events that the people of Tinian and visiting guests look forward to every single year.
