Big Boy Marine Sports withdrew its application for a conditional use permit with the Zoning Board.

Big Boy Marine Sports consultant John Reyes, who was authorized by company president Masanari Yasuda through a special power of attorney, informed the board about its decision in a letter addressed to acting administrator Therese Ogumoro last Sept. 1.

Reyes noted that their decision is based on the board’s Aug. 31 meeting “in which we felt that there are some information lacking for the Zoning Board to make a decision.”

Big Boy Marine Sports requested to establish a commercial garage to provide vehicle repair and custom painting services to the general public on Lot 409-1-$1 along Msgr. Guerrero Road in As Terlaje.

During the board’s meeting last Sept. 1, chair Diego Blanco confirmed the applicant’s application withdrawal.

“Should we decide in the future to reapply for [conditional use permit], a new application will be submitted,” Reyes added.
