Biased much?

Every day, every week, two pages of Opinion that always bashes the U.S. government, President, or Republicans. Is it that difficult to find an opposing view? I’m not a Republican but it’s obvious to me that there is very little effort in finding opposing opinions. Has anyone at the Saipan Tribune considered the good that the U.S. has done for the CNMI in the past six months and offered an opinion on that?

I also noticed that the Opinion section is always filled with opinions from someone in New York, Philadelphia, Chicago, Boston, or somewhere in California. These are the most uber-liberal cities in America. Has anyone thought about getting a normal American opinion from someone in Alaska, South Carolina, Kentucky, Hawaii, or here? Wow, there is a novel thought—let’s get an opinion from normal people like the folks here on Saipan. An opinion from someone on Saipan would be a breath of fresh air.

I genuinely like your paper other than the Opinion page. I actually think it could be ok as well as long as all the bashing only made up 50 percent or one page vice both. It would be nice to see an opposing view or an opinion from someone local.

This is solely my opinion and in no way represents the opinion of those associated with or of the agency I work for.
