Church brings medical mission to As Lito
Some 76 individuals availed of free services provided by church members and volunteers of the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ 4th Watch as part of the group’s village-to-village medical mission.
Church Pastor Claire Javillonar said the group held the successful event at the Green Consume Market parking lot in As Lito last May 27.
Javillonar recognized all volunteers and donors who helped make the event possible. They are the church members who performed the blood pressure and blood sugar screenings, facial and body massage, counseling, and also provided snacks; Rhea of Tropical Spa and Salon for providing haircut; and Erlinda Muleta of Marianas Eye Institute for conducting the eye checkup.
She also acknowledged the market owner, Mr. Li, for the use of his establishment’s parking lot.
Javillonar said they are bringing the medical mission to the Sinapalo Children’s Park on Rota on June 23, Saturday, from 3pm to 6pm.
She said their group will be offering the same services plus giveaways courtesy of sponsors from Guam.
“To all Rota residents, please come and avail of these blessings,” said Javillonar.
