Ex-CUC board member allegedly molested minor girl

An arrest warrant has been issued against a former Commonwealth Utilities Corp. board member for allegedly molesting a 16-year-old girl, Saipan Tribune learned yesterday.

Sources at the Department of Public Safety disclosed that a Superior Court associate judge issued over the weekend an arrest warrant for the suspect with a bail of $25,750 cash.

As of press time, it was not yet clear whether DPS had already served the arrest warrant to the defendant.

Sources said the charges are sexual abuse of a minor, indecent exposure, and disturbing the peace.

Saipan Tribune opted not to divulge the suspect’s identity until there is confirmation from authorities that he is already served with the arrest warrant.
