Emergency power outage on Sat.

The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. has scheduled power outage this Saturday, June 2, 2012, from 5:30am to 8:30am affecting Navy Hill on Saipan.

The purpose of the outage is to allow CUC’s line crew to replace two rotten primary power poles on Navy Hill. Additionally, crews will be performing line clearing in the area while the primary lines are de-energized.

Areas affected include the Navy Hill Rd., Chief Radahao Lane, Chief Poyo Court, Gloria Drive, Magas Loop, Diboto Lane, Delgado Drive, Kotdura Laine, Isa Drive, Grurupu Drive, Fuesta Loop, Victoria Avenue, Documento Lane, Fitmi Place, Suneta Place, Manamko Place, Afal Street, Guela Avenue, Kaftan Avenue, and Denfeld Lane to Chalan Galaide.

Because of the scale of work that will be performed, travelers are asked to take alternate routes or to exercise caution when driving through these areas. [I](CUC)[/I]
