A man who shattered the back windshields of two parked cars by throwing rocks after an argument with his girlfriend was slapped with a six-day prison term.

In a written order issued Tuesday, Superior Court Presiding Judge Robert C. Naraja sentenced Fiden Teregeyo Hamo to a year in prison, all suspended except for six days, for criminal mischief, with credit for the six days he has already served in prison. This means the 23-year-old Hamo will immediately go free.

He was placed, however, on probation for two years and required to pay $631 and $571 in restitutions to Chito R. Fitial and Xuan Bo Lu respectively for damage to both of their vehicles and to write a letter of apology to the victims.

Hamo was also ordered to pay $200 in probation fee, a $100 fine, and $25 court fee. He was required to perform 200 hours of community service.

According to the plea agreement, on Jan. 3, 2012 on Saipan, Hamo shattered the back windshields of two vehicles with rocks.
