Shiori Onoue edged Noriko Togawa to win her second consecutive overall points title at the conclusion of the CNMI Women’s Golfers Association’s two-day 5th Annual Ace of Aces season finale tournament held last April 14 and 15 at the Laolao Bay Golf Resort.

Onoue finished the season with 125 points and snuck past two-time low gross leader Togawa by just two points.

Last year’s low gross runner-up Masayo Miyamoto took third place with Chang Eun Ae (91), Dolores Yamagishi (90), Yuko Togawa (89), Terry Guerrero (73), Kimiko Abe (68), Sheralyn Jones (68), and Lou Kim (61) rounding out the Top 10.

Noriko Togawa may have just missed overall points honors, but she did manage to finish ahead of Onoue by a stroke in the low gross category with a total tally of 159.

Xiao Ling Wang (167) settled for third place with Yi Su Jeong (169) and Yuko Togawa (170) rounding out the fourth and fifth spots.

Jeong came away as the low net score winner with a total count of 142. She beat runner-up Kyung Seo Ran by a stroke with Onoue (150), Yamagishi (150), and Mio Kim (151) filling out the rest of the field.

The group’s season-ending awards banquet was held poolside at Laolao Bay Golf Resort after last Sunday’s final round.
