Search for unexploded WWII ordnance[/B]
During World War II when the U.S military was bombarding the island of Saipan, an estimated one out of 10 shells fired did not explode. Therefore, there are potentially thousands of unexploded projectiles and, while some reached land, others are underwater. Do you know anyone you know has information regarding WWII underwater unexploded ordnance, UXO? If you have any information regarding potential submerged UXO, attend the community outreach meetings. You may also send information to uxoinfo@aol.com, text (671) 685-0142 or by calling and leaving a message for Samuel McPhetres at 234-5498 Ext. 1204.
