UOG’s Upward Bound accepting applicants

University of Guam’s Upward Bound college prep program is accepting applications from interested students currently in 8th, 9th, 10th, or 11th grade.

Free academic services are provided during the school year and summer including academic tutoring; college and career prep activities; field trips/ cultural trips; financial aid information; six-week summer program at UOG; self-development workshops; and other benefits.

Students applying must meet eligibility criteria such as: minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher; parents/ legal guardians do not have a four-year college degree or come from low-income family; and applicants meet citizenship/resident requirements. Slots are limited.
