Junior mock trial on Saturday

The Northern Marianas Humanities Council is hosting the 2012 Junior High Mock Trial this Saturday, April 21, 2012, at 9am at the Guma’ Hustisia, Courtroom 220.

Grace Christian Academy-Rota, Dr. Rita H. Inos Junior/Senior High School, Admiral Herbert G. Hopwood Junior High School, and Mount Carmel School are the four teams that will be paired off to argue a hypothetical case in front of lawyer Viola Alepuyo, who will serve as the mock trial judge.

The public is invited to come and observe the students as they apply the skills and knowledge that they learned about the law and courtroom procedures in a professional and non-competitive setting.
