Ryuto Yanai still has five of the 11 age group records in the boys U8 division after resetting three of his marks in the SSC meet. Kaito now has five records in his age group and is in good shape of over taking the records of Joshua Taitano, who holds the most marks with seven. Kensuke Kimura’s records in the 11 to 12 dropped from five to four after Kaito’s 200m backstroke mark. Kaito’s four other records are in the 100m backstroke (1:15.51/Feb. 18, 2012), 50m b reaststroke (36.78 seconds/ Feb. 18, 2012), 100m breaststroke (1:19.26/Dec. 3, 2011), and 200m breaststroke (2:51.79/Jan. 21, 2012).
