Hocog later scored from a passed ball.

The A’s grinded out three runs in the second inning off some early nerves by the Comets’ infield.

Then in the bottom portion, the Comets’ Vincent Taman and Ethan Babauta cranked a pair of doubles for two runs and Hocog hit a solo shot later in the third to put the Comets in front, 8-5.

Both teams traded a run in the fourth and Comets reliever Babauta kept the A’s at bay late in the game.

Comets’ Hocog batted 3-for-3 with three RBIs and two runs, while Erik Cruz swung 3-for-4 with two RBIs and a run.

Comets pitching duo of Cruz and Babauta split time and held the A’s to just three hits and tallied 14 strikeouts.

The Enforcers loaded the bases in the top of the fourth and mustered four runs off a plunked batter, an RBI single by Ethan Lizama, and a two-RBI triple by Franklin Lizama.

They then added another four runs to briefly pull behind, 9-10, but the Falcons responded with three runs in the fifth as the Enforcers pitching woes continued to haunt them; Barry Sunumai bagged an RBI single and James Kintaro poked an RBI fielder’s choice.
