Images Saipan steps up to the plate for 2012 MMAC

Images Saipan, Ltd., a professional photography business, is the latest major sponsor of the 2012 Marianas March Against Cancer.
Owned and operated by Dr. Jack Hardy, Images Saipan will provide photographic services throughout the MMAC event on April 27 to 28, 6pm to 6am, at the Hopwood Jr. High School field.
Catherine Attao-Toves, overall committee chair for the 2012 MMAC, thanked Hardy and Images Saipan “for their staunch support in the fight against cancer.”
“Dr. Hardy is not only a senior adviser to the 2012 MMAC committee, he is a gifted photographer who provides his expert services as part of his sponsorship agreement,” she added.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of the MMAC and will feature a survivor ceremony and lap to honor all cancer survivors who will be treated to dinner sponsored by TakeCare/FHP. Cancer survivors will receive a unique medallion commemorating their fight and a free t-shirt.
During the event, a luminary ceremony will be conducted wherein candles will be lit around the field to honor and in memory of all those who have been affected by cancer.
Attao-Toves urged the public to take part in the largest signature fundraiser of the Commonwealth Cancer Association, a volunteer-led nonprofit organization that ensures all funds raised are spent on cancer patient support services, cancer awareness programs, and other cancer-related activities in the CNMI.
“We invite the entire community to come down and enjoy a night of great food and drinks, fun games and live entertainment,” she said.
