Kingfisher Golf Links showed its support for the island’s elderly by making a donation to the man’amko this month.

Representatives of the company presented on March 15 a check worth $916.97 to the Saipan Seniors Advisory Council officers at the Aging Center.

Walter Manglona, program coordinator at the Aging Office, told Saipan Tribune in an interview that Kingfisher Golf Links regularly donates to the man’amko through the council.

Their donation, Manglona said, augments the funds used by the council to enhance their programs at the center.

“We’re very grateful to the Kingfisher golf company and I’m sure the man’amko appreciate their generosity,” added Manglona.

The seniors will be in the spotlight during the celebration of Mes Man’amko or Older Americans Month in May.
