In other divisions, SOS Bar & Grill’s DJ Fish and VFW Post 3457’s Good Guys II lead Thursday’s B-Fanihi and B-Flame Tree fields, while Jonny’s Bar & Grill’s Sparks holds a three-game advantage in the C division after lsat Wednesday’s pairings.
Ali’i Kamote snuck past Bammy’s Restaurant & Bar’s Sabalu Boy (28-40), 9-8, on the road to improve its record to 42-26.
Bammy’s Aces (40-28) routed VFW’s D’Companeros (21-47), 14-3, in a road match to move into a tie for second place with the SOS All Stars (40-28), who stumbled to a 7-10 loss at home to VFW’s Maharot Crew (36-32).
SOS’s Mixed Blood Rookies (32-36) also recorded a upset against sister team Destroyers (33-35), 9-8.
Notable performances last week included a pair of High In 160’s by Mix-Blood’s Joshua Wodson and Aces’ Jayson John and a High Out 117 by Sabalu Boyz’s Ben Aguon.
In the Thursday B, DJ Fish defeated Bammy’s DRP 2 (29-31), 9-6, on the road to stretch its lead against B-Fanihi field to seven games and improve its record to 42-18.
DRP 2’s sister-squad Lights Out (35-25) absorbed a 7-8 upset to seventh-ranked Jonny’s Aventurers (25-35), but remain in second place, while Es’y Kitchen’s Kitchen Shooters and Naked Fish’s IT&E Na’Gupu are tied for third place with similar cards of 32-28.
In addition, VFW’s Dutty Gunz (27-33) defeated Poseidon’s One Shot (18-42), 1-4.
Also in the Thursday league, Good Guys II improved its slate to 35-25 after 10-5 road victory over Jonny’s Retsa Sakude II (30-30).
The Water Front endured a 7-8 upset at Bammy’s to Lilapuching (30-30), but is still tied for second place with Joe’s Steakhouse’s Skoregazzzums, which outlasted SOS’s What You Got, 8-7, at home.
Meanwhile, Jonny’s Rehab (30-30) bested 19th Hole Bar’s Dart Freaks (28-32), 9-6, on the road.
Notables include a pair of High In 152’s by Lilapuching’s Alex Castro and Rehab’s Mike Jones and a High Out 120 by Retsa Sakudi’s Manny Ada.
In the C division, the Sparks were stunned, 7-8, on the road by VFW’s Party Rock, but maintained a three-game lead with their 39-21 card.
Party Rock now shares second honors with Island Apparel’s Oh MG!, which diced up Bammy’s DRP (26-34), 11-4, on the road; Party Rock and Island Apparel hold similar 36-24 records.
In other results, Oceanside Bar & Grill’s Shooters V1 (34-26) defeated 19th Hole’s Hole In One (13-47), 9-6, at home, while Hafa Mas! (25-31) beat the Oceanside’s Shooters V2 (24-36), 8-7, in a home game.
Notables included a High In 112 by Shooters V2’s Richard Presinede and a High Out 107 by Shooters V1’s Moody Samora.
