Bennett girls continue to accomplish new goals
This is two proud parents’ update on the Bennett girls who are still plowing ahead with accomplishments and representing the CNMI. We are sharing this not only out of our love and pride in our children but we are always asked about them and we hope this will update their fans and supporters. We also hope this will help to inspire other CNMI youths to shoot for the moon and the stars beyond the CNMI.
Yvonne is still pursuing her acting career while managing a retail store and she is doing very good with her acting career as her new agent is keeping her busy. She just finished working on the movie Stalker at the end of last year in which she was the leading supporting actress again and the movie is now in theaters and hopefully will come to Saipan.
Yvonne has been doing a lot of local Utah commercials and even an event in Las Vegas where she modeled. She was more recently hired to do a national commercial for “Ancestry” which you can see on TV or at https://youtu.be/kxGTOLJVPSw. Yvonne also did a national commercial recently for “Pure Cam,” a car security system which you can also see at https://youtu.beFvgDoBp7QJ8. The great news is the movie Stalker that Yvonne is in has been nominated for seven awards in the Utah Film Festival and Yvonne has been nominated for “Best Supporting Actress.” The festival itself will be held on April 4 to 6 in Provo Utah. If you want to know more about the Utah Film Festival & Awards and the films and actors/actresses that have been nominated you can view at http://www.theutahfilmawards.com/2019-nominees/.
Yvette, a former Miss Idaho USA, is now living in New Jersey but she works right across the bridge in New York, managing a fitness club. She has also found her niche for modeling in New York as is now modeling all kinds of things for national advertisements, from eyeglasses to swimsuits. More recently, Yvette entered a national bathing suit competition that will be held in Miami, Florida, at the Grand Beach Hotel, Miami Beach, from July 9 to 12. The swimsuit competition is part of “Miami Swim Week” activities and you can find out more about the competition at https://missbikinius.com/miami-swim-week.html.
Finally, our oldest daughter Shequita, former Miss Marianas Universe, remarried in an awesome ceremony to a retired U.S. Air Force pilot (Sam Kirby) in Cancun, Mexico, last November. She is presently a sergeant in the Air Force but she is preparing to take the test and meet the requirements to be a lieutenant as she plans to make a career in the Air Force.
We are sure the supporters of our daughters will appreciate this update and we are hopeful that it will help to capture and inspire the minds and hearts of other CNMI youth to shoot for the moon and the stars.
Thank you, CNMI, for supporting our daughters as they continue representing us and our islands.
