The Benchwarmers and Local Motion kept their clean record in the Rocball league after four rounds and more than 20 games at the Marianas High School Gymnasium.

The Benchwarmers and Local Motion hold similar 4-0 records to share the lead in the nine-team field. Other teams competing in the league are Got Very Determined, Veterans, Teachers, Oba Squirt, Mix, Bring It On, and Team Nameless.

The two leading squads will collide this Wednesday for the solo top spot.

Heading into this week’s battle of undefeated teams, the Benchwarmers are ahead of Local Motion in aces scoring, 34-33. In the 2-point xunks, the Benchwarmers dominated Local Motion, 11-4. Local Motion had the Benchwarmers’ numbers in backcourt scoring, 18-14, and the former also prevailed in goals scoring, 6-1.

Rocball games are played in four sets. A team can win a game after four sets if it had the lead in points (total) and also won the fourth set. If the leading team lost the fourth set, the game goes in overtime with the trailing squad needing to win twice and the former only once.
