Now is a great time to start the process of becoming a federal contractor or vendor and the Guam Procurement Technical Assistance Center will teach you how to do that, for free.

PTAC is offering a series of free workshops from 9am to 10am this November at the University of Guam in the Jesus and Eugenia Leon Guerrero Business and Public Admin Building, Margarita Perez & Jaime Tuquero IT&E Lecture Hall, Room 131 (unless otherwise specified):

Nov. 21—FedBizOpps and NECO: Where to Find Government Solicitations : Federal government opportunities greater than $25,000 are posted on FedBizOpps. FedBizOpps has moved to beta.sam.gov. PTAC will explain all the new features. The U.S. Navy posts opportunities on NECO. PTAC will provide an overview of these two sites and show you how to set up automated searches.

Nov. 27—Developing a Capabilities Statement: A Capabilities Statement is an essential marketing tool for government contracting. PTAC will explain how to create a CS and what information should be included to improve your chances of winning a government contract.

For project management professionals, Guam PTAC workshops may count toward your annual Professional Development Unit goals.
