Name: Lucio Aldan

Occupation: Executive Manager

Work Place: Coral Ocean Point
Native of Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands

“I came to the American Red Cross in 2006 not knowing what to expect,” Aldan said. Since then, Aldan has risen through the ranks to become a senior Lifeguard instructor. He has trained several hundred members of the NMI community in lifesaving skills. Aldan said it has been a rewarding experience being a part of ARC as an instructor. “I get a feeling of satisfaction knowing more people in the community are trained in CPR and First Aid,” he said. “The feeling is immeasurable.” Aldan said he continues to train people because it is his way of giving back to the community. “I love to train people,” he said, “and I will continue to train people to make our communities safer places to live.”
