Garbage collector allegedly fondles boy, 7

A garbage collector was arrested Friday afternoon after he allegedly fondled a 7-year-old boy at a public school.
Jonathan Sang-an Alberto, 40, was arrested for sexual assault in the second degree and disturbing the peace. His bail was set at $10,250 cash. Preliminary hearing will be on March 15 at 9am.
Police detective Peter A. Aldan stated in his report that the boy and a girl, both of them 7 years old, had gone out of their classroom on Friday at 1:52pm to throw out the trash. The two walked out to the trash bin where Alberto and a co-employee of Artman Corp. were unloading the trash into their garbage truck.
Alberto allegedly grabbed the boy’s crotch and held it. The two students got scared and ran back to their classroom where they told their teacher about what had just happened. The teacher immediately reported the incident to the school’s vice principal.
Responding police officers later found the garbage truck in Garapan and pulled it over. The officer called the boy and his father to the area to identify the suspect. The boy positively identified Alberto, who was arrested at 3:52pm. [I](Saipan Tribune)[/I]
