Celebrate Valentine’s Day with an evening of samba and salsa when the Rose Dance School brings to the community “Latin Heart Dance.”

The event is slated for Feb. 10, Friday, from 8pm to 12:30am at the Rose Dance School studio on the second floor of Canton Restaurant along Beach Road in Garapan.

Tickets to the event cost $15 each and include one drink and free dance.

Carol Wong Chan, who co-manages the family-owned dance school, said they want to observe Valentine’s Day by encouraging residents to learn ballroom dancing and do the cha-cha, mambo, rumba, merengue, samba, and paso doble, among others.

Sweating it out on the dance floor is a good and healthy way to celebrate Valentine’s Day, said Chan.

Guests can also look forward to invigorating dance performances by Rose Dance School students under the direction of instructor Resty Joson.

“We are inviting the community to join us as we celebrate Valentine’s Day through Latin Heart Dance on Feb. 10,” Chan told Saipan Tribune.
