Kagman house burglarized
Police arrested on Thursday two suspected burglars who allegedly broke into a house in Kagman III and stole several items in two duffle bags.
John Ilo Jr., 23, and Felix Muna Kileleman, 18, were arrested for burglary and theft. Bail was set yesterday at $10,000 cash for each suspect. Preliminary hearing will be on Jan. 26 at 9am.
Police reports state that two officers had responded to a house in Kagman III on Tuesday at 11:06pm due to an alleged burglary. The homeowner told the officers that his residence had been burglarized and that a female witness saw two persons leaving the place earlier. The witness allegedly saw Ilo and Kileleman carrying two duffle bags.
The officers learned that the window screen at the back of the house had been cut open. The northern end of the laundry room door was also open.
At the time, the victim told police he does not know what items were stolen as he had immediately called for police assistance.
The two officers later proceeded to Kileleman’s residence in Kagman where they met the two suspects. Police said that upon questioning by the officers, the two confessed to burglarizing the victim’s house and stealing several items.
A crime scene technician returned some of the recovered items to the victim, but still missing are a small bolt cutter, a wedding ring, 10 Gerber knives, and three folding chairs, all valued at $1,510.
