Duties and responsibilities of an administrative assistant include receiving and screening phone calls and visitors; scheduling office appointments and meetings; providing applicants with application materials and contacts applicants to submit additional information as required; entering data from zoning permit files into the zoning database; and maintaining permit, project, financial, and personnel records.
