Locally produced TV show premieres Friday
The television premiere of the year has arrived.
A locally produced TV show called Finu Chamorro will have its premiere on Friday, Dec. 23, 2011, at the American Memorial Park’s Museum Theater.
Produced by Digital Motions’ Edwin Sta. Theresa, Kevin Jardinero, and Bernard Rivera as well as Public School System’s Lumi Bermudes, Finu Chamorro is an attempt to make the CNMI indigenous language more accessible to everyone.
Friday’s premiere will begin with the arrival of guests at 5:30pm and the start of the program at 6pm, followed by the showing of two episodes of the TV show, and the end of the premiere at 7pm.
The premiere showing will also be attended by various representatives of the Public School Systems, parents and students cast in Finu Chamorro, and possible private company sponsors.
Finu Chamorro isn’t just for the indigenous population in the Commonwealth. The season begins with lesson one, so basically anyone wanting to learn the Chamorro language can. It will be done in an easy format with each lesson organically flowing on to the next. Whether you are married to a Chamorro and want to be able to speak their native language or if you’re a student needing to practice, it is for everyone!
Season 1 Episode 1 will be aired on Dec. 26, 27, and 31, from 6:30pm to 7pm, for the Christmas Special on Channel 7, ABC 7.
