A brutal show
While on vacation here, I went to watch the Trench Warz Supremacy XV and I could not believe that children were allowed to also watch the fight! It is an extremely brutal show, and in my opinion it is too violent for children. What kind of example is it for them? What will they learn from watching a demonstration of mixed martial arts? To me, it just teaches children how to be bullies in school, and who knows, all throughout their adult lives. There should be discretion when one buys a fight ticket. It may be just a sport, but not for youngsters. Just like a movie is just a movie, but children aren’t allowed to watch adult rated movies, nor are they allowed to watch R-rated ones.
Another issue I had was that there were no ID checks at the door. Yes, there was security, but as far as preventing underage drinking…NONE! To the right of where I sat in the VIP section, teenagers were purchasing alcohol! How do I know? I saw my nephew order vodka with Monster, no ID was asked of him, and I had to step in and take the drink away from him. I was so surprised to hear that a police officer who is also a Trench Tech fighter was not aware of this situation. I would think that this “underage drinking prevention” program, especially with “3D prevention” program going on this holiday season, he would have been on top of this.
Other than this, I had an awesome time at the fight. I just hope and wish, when I come back again, these issues would be attended to and hopefully resolved.
