Jude and Butter Dickinson dominated the Saipan Radio Control Racers’ monthly competitions held Sunday at the club’s track in As Lito.

Jude Dickinson won both the A-Main 1/10 Stock and Open division electric short course events, while Butter Dickinson took the top prize in the B-Main Stock 1/10 electric short course affair.

Jude Dickinson’s TraXXas Slash was also the top qualifier in the A-Main episode. He finished ahead of a pair of HPI Blitzes driven by runner-up Rodney Cattalla and Jojo Saracho.

In addition, Jude Dickinson’s Team Losi XXX-SCT took the pole in the open division short course event and beat Paul Salalila’s Kyosho Ultima-SCR and Leo Gatus’ TraXXas Slash.

Butter Dickinson followed suit in the B-Main race and came out the top qualifier en route to a first place finish in front of fellow TraXXas Slash drivers Franz Decena and Kurt Diaz.

There are over 20 active SRCR members, and growing, which regularly take part in practices at the As Lito track every Saturday from 2pm to 6pm.

In addition, the SRCR tries to hold a daylong race once a month, usually on Sundays, from 9am to 5pm in various racing classes.

The Open Class, intended for novice drivers, was added as a result of additional turnout. The public is welcome to check out the track to learn more about their sport/hobby.
