MMAC team captains’ meeting today

The 2012 Marianas March Against Cancer Committee will be holding its next team captains’ meeting today, Dec. 15, 2011, at the Hyatt Regency Saipan’s Chamolinian Room. The meeting will begin promptly at 5:30pm.
“After receiving community feedback, the 2012 MMAC committee has decided that getting an early start is needed in order to ensure all teams get ample time to prepare for this great event. We’re inviting all 2011 MMAC teams to attend as well as all schools, businesses, non-profit organizations, government agencies or families interested in participating in MMAC 2012,” said 2012 MMAC overall committee chair Catherine Attao-Toves.
Items to be discussed include the financial report from the Commonwealth Cancer Association and proposed changes for MMAC 2012. The CCA will be presenting a report detailing how all funds raised at the MMAC are used for cancer patient assistance and other cancer-related services.
“We will discuss some important changes for the 2012 MMAC so the participation of all teams is extremely appreciated. With the holiday season in full swing, we hope all interested members of the community find the time to attend this important meeting in support of the battle against cancer,” said Attao-Toves.
