Gold’s Gym Saipan is pleased to announce the promotion of Brett Nelson to general manager of the island’s premier full-service fitness center.

The 36-year-old Nelson previously served as operations manager and personal trainer and holds a NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) personal training certification.

“We are excited to promote from within. Brett was part of the original opening team in 1996 and will continue to assist clients with their fitness goals. Brett brings a perfect combination of proven experience and extensive knowledge of gym operations. In his new capacity, Brett will assume the management duties of day to day operations as well as oversee the development of the personal training program to include a variety of certified personal trainers,” said Marianas Fitness dba Gold’s Gym president Russ Quinn.

Joel Tudela will assume the new position of sales and marketing manager. Tudela is a student at NMC and Argosy University, seeking his BS in Criminal Justice. He has also been working part time at Gold’s since last year. A native to Saipan, Tudela brings tremendous enthusiasm to his new position and will seek to further expand and promote Gold’s Gym on island.

Natalie Cruz has been elevated to the position of supervisor. Cruz is a longtime resident of Saipan and a mother of three. Her friendly disposition and outstanding service make her an ideal choice to welcome members and visitors to Gold’s Gym Saipan.

Gold’s Gym is located in China Town, adjacent to Sugar King Park. Call 233-4000 for more information.
