Kee Sandwich To Go turns a year old

It seems like only yesterday when Kee Sandwich To Go quietly opened its doors on the corner of Coral Tree Avenue and Palm St. across from Hyatt Regency Saipan in Garapan. The sandwich shop owned by longtime businessman Ta Bun Kuy now marks its first year anniversary.

Ta couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the occasion than transforming the menu for Kee Sandwich To Go, adding more food items and to provide customers with a better selection than before.

Kee Sandwich To Go now offers more local fares with the inclusion of Chamorro sausage sandwich, Chamorro calzoni pizza, Chamorro ramen, Chamorro cheeseburger, Chamorro sausage pizza, Chamorro fried rice, and Chamoro omelet.

“It’s an ideal place to bring your off-island guests and have a go at our delicious local food items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The best thing is we are open 24 hours,” Ta told Saipan Tribune.

Besides having Chamorro meal choices, Kee Sandwich To Go continues to feature its staple sandwiches which include Smoked Chicken Sandwich, Tuna Melt Sandwich, and Vietnamese Special Sandwich.

Kee Sandwich To Go also offers a variety of Vietnamese short order dishes such as the Vietnamese spring rolls and Vietnamese sandwich, which are a must try. Customers can soon look forward to another addition in the menu called Pho or the Vietnamese beef noodle soup.

Ta revealed that their home-made cheeseburger, made of succulent and flavorsome ground beef patties garnished with crisp vegetables packed in freshly baked hamburger buns from his own bakery, Chow Queen Bakery, still remains the most popular item in their menu and is certainly worth trying.

“The nice thing about our very own recipe of cheeseburger is that once you try it, you’ll keep coming back for more because it’s really juicy and tasty,” added Ta.

Additionally, Kee Sandwich To Go has an affordable lunch menu of mostly Filipino dishes from Monday to Sunday for only $3.25 for one choice and $4.50 for two choices, both inclusive of soup of the day.
