Two Tinian Little League teams give back
The Tinian Little League and Typhoon Sports Organization’s Keith Nabors would like to thank all his sponsors for their support during the 2011 season.
Nabors’ Junior League Typhoons finished the 2011 season undefeated in 14 games en route to winning the TLL championship.
Nabor’s Major League Typhoons, meanwhile, clinched back-to-back titles this year while going on a 35-game winning streak dating all the way back from 2009.
“I want to thank Lucky Qiang Mart’s Lin Castro as well as Lin Jin Cai, Huang Chao, Bruce Castro, and the rest of the Lucky Store family for supporting our Junior League champions,” stated Nabors in an email on Sunday.
Lucky Quiang Mart provided uniforms for the team and was recently presented with the team trophy and a plaque of appreciation.
Nabors added, “I also want to thank Don Power, Felix Mankin, Jenifer Dela Cruz, Lalaine Dumdum, and everyone at FPA and Pacific & Power Builders, Inc. for all of their contributions to the two-time major division champions in these tough economic times.”
Nabors presented the businesses with the 2011 TLL Major League championship trophy and a special plaque of appreciation last week.
“I want to thank again Mr. Power, Leilani Manalo, Patrick Cabrera, and the people at Tinian Ice & Water Bottling Company for their much needed services this year,” added Nabors.
Nabors presented Tinian Ice & Water Bottling Co. with a special plaque of appreciation for donating over $2,000 in products for the players to use during the 2011 season.
