The Pohnpei Amateur Softball League is putting on a coed slow-pitch softball fundraiser tournament this weekend from Nov. 18 through Nov. 20 at the Capital Hill Ballfield.

The PASL is trying to raise money to help field a men and women’s team to compete in a goodwill softball tournament in Guam next week. However, event organizers were unable to verify the specifics of the off-island activity as of press time.

In any case, the teams will be made up of a mixed group of PASL players.

A total of 12 teams have already confirmed their participation and slots are still available.

The entrance fee to participate is set at $100 per team and prizes will be awarded to the Top 3 place finishers.

All rosters must contain at least three female players and at least two women players must be out in the field at all times.
