Members of the Rotary Club of Saipan are gearing up for the group’s Man’amko Thanksgiving luncheon next week.

The club’s annual outreach activity is slated for Nov. 22 at the Aging Center. Setup time starts at 10:30am and lunch will be served at 11:30am.

“I sent messages out to members requesting financial contribution to help support purchase of food products that we’re going to need to have catered for the man’amko lunch scheduled for next Tuesday,” Community Service director Richard Cody told his fellow Rotarians during their meeting yesterday.

Cody said they still need four hams and four turkeys for the luncheon.

He urged Rotarians who volunteered to bring dishes “to be there before the serving starts.”

Rotarian Vicky Concepcion has been tasked to track all voluntary cash and in-kind contributions.

While their committee has allotted a budget of $1,500 for the annual luncheon, Cody said they still asked for donations to cover some expenses.
