[B]Parents Take Over Day at MHS[/B]

Marianas High School will join thousands of school nationwide in celebrating the 90th Annual American Education Week on Nov. 13-19. As part of this celebration, MHS will be having a Parent Take Over Day on Friday, Nov. 18, to provide parents a firsthand look at what the school day is like for their child. [B]UOG math contest: November problems posted[/B]

The University of Guam Division of Mathematical Sciences hosts its annual math contest again this year and has posted the problems for the month of November at www.uog.edu/mathematics.

The contest will be held each month from October 2011 through March 2012. Overall winners will be announced in April. Challenge your mathematical mind and log onto the website to view the problems. Solutions for the November contest are due Nov. 30, 2011.Submit your solution by email to uog_math@yahoo.com.

This year we accept email submission only. Submissions must include the words “Math Contest” in the subject line of the email. In the body of the email include your name, mailing address, school, and grade. (UOG)
