Round three of the 2011 Rocball Fall League was already in the books with Aim Low and Teachers keeping their undefeated records intact after last week’s games at the Marianas High School Gymnasium.

Aim Low holds a 3-0 card after Week 3, following a 34-23 juiced-out win over Give-a-Hoot. It was Aim Low’s second straight juiced-out victory, as it also defeated Alpha Q, 37-13, in Week 2. Teachers also own a 3-0 record after prevailing over Balls of Fury, 38-12.

Teachers and Aim Low have a one-game lead over Alpha Q, Dream Team, Give-a-Hoot, and Roc It, which share the No. 2 spot with their identical 2-1 slates. Completing the team standings are Balls of Fury (1-2), G-Sparks (1-2), Geeks (1-2), Just-do-It (1-2), IDK (0-3), and Lay Low (0-3).

Balls of Fury topped IDK in Week 3, 37-29; Alpha Q downed Dream Team, 33-27; Just-do-it outclassed Geeks, 27-17; and Roc It slipped past Lay Low, 32-26. Geeks’ lone victory came from a 30-17 trashing of the G-Sparks in Week 2, while Roc It and Give-a-Hoot also won over Just-do-It, 37-29, and Lay Low, 36-28, respectively, in the second round. Dream Team gained a share of the No. 2 spot with a 29-24 triumph over Balls of Fury in Week 2.

Meanwhile, Damart Teregeyo of Give-a-Hoot became the first “master blaster” of the fall season. A player earns the master blaster tag if he has scored at least one ace, xunk, jam, kee, and goal. Teregeyo has tallied five xunks, five aces, two kees, one goal, and one jam.

In other individual statistics, Teachers’ Tyce Mister has scored the most jams with two. A jam is made when a player intercepted a low serve and spiked it down to the opposing team’s court untouched. In the service and xunks categories, The Geeks’ Jonathan Ignacio is ahead with eight and three, respectively. Nick Gross of the Teachers leads the league in kees with seven, while Lay Low’s Icemar Somorang has scored the most goals so far with three. A goal is scored when the attacking teams hits the ball and it went in to the soccer goal located past the backline.
