Among automobile manufacturers last month, Microl Corp.’s Toyota sold the most, while its Yaris model was the top selling vehicle during the same period.

According to the Commonwealth Auto Dealers Association’s Monthly Sales and Market Share Report, 20 Toyota vehicles were sold in October, making up 47.62 percent of total vehicles sold in the CNMI.

Nissan was the second best-selling make with seven units rolling out of Joeten Motors’ showroom, followed by Hyundai (6), Ford (5), Mazda (2), and Honda (1) and Kia (1).

Hyundai and Mazda are sold by Triple J Motors, while Ford, Honda, and Kia belong to Joeten Motors.

Buyers, meanwhile, snapped up seven Yaris units, one more than those who bought Toyota Corollas.

Hyundai Accent, Toyota Highlander and Camry, and Ford Ranger were the third best-selling vehicles last month with three units sold, while two units of Nissan Sentra, Hyundai Elantra, and Nissan Quest were also bought.

Models that sold a unit each were Ford Fiesta and Taurus, Honda Civic, Nissan Maxima, Pathfinder, and Rogue, Toyota Tacoma, Mazda 5 and CX9, and Hyundai Tucson and Vera Cruz.
