To all government employees, retirees, surviving spouse, and unemployed citizens of Saipan: The CNMI government is broke, the retirement program is in the intensive care unit, and the economy is at its worst.

I would like to ask all who will be affected to come out and cast your vote on Friday, Nov. 4, 2011, at the following locations: NMC building “D,” the multi-purpose building, the Legislature building, and the Kagman Community Center, to show your support and concerns about the affected programs above. The survey is to hear your sentiment whether we need casinos to revive our economy or not. As your public servant, we strive to bring in fresh money into the CNMI. The casino industry in the Asian market is blooming and we strongly believe that it will help our ailing economy.

Please go to the locations listed above and participate in the survey. Your future is in your hands. Thank you and may God continue to bless us all as we strive to make our Islands prosperous and safe.
