The Saipan Major League Baseball Association and the CNMI National Baseball Team are hosting a fundraising softball tournament on November 11 and 12 at the Capital Hill Ballfield.

Proceeds from the two-day event will be used to help defray some of SML’s operational costs and pay for outstanding obligations the CNMI gold medal team incurred for participating in the 2011 Pacific Games in New Caledonia.

At least 10 teams are expected to participate in the fundraiser. Slots are still available. Entrance fee is only $100 and checks should be made payable to SMLBA.

For more information, contact CNMI team manager and SMLBA official Tony Rogolifoi at 288-5426.
