Beach v’ball meeting Nov. 3

There will be a coaches/players/parents/teachers organizational meeting regarding the beach volleyball qualifiers for CNMI National Women’s Teams tryouts (both juniors and masters).

Selected athletes will be given an opportunity to compete in the next Zonal Olympic Qualifier to be held in New Zealand in February 2012. The CNMI earned two seats in the next phase of the Olympic qualifiers when the Commonwealth female strikers won over Papua New Guinea during the SubZonal Olympic Qualifier held at the Pacific Islands Club in March this year.

These tryouts are open to all interested coaches and players in the CNMI. Players must hold a U.S. passport, be at least 15 years old by February 2012, and able to commit to a rigorous training schedule. Selected players should expect to contribute in the travel costs.

Coach Russ Quinn will discuss trainings, commitments, responsibilities, and other relevant information at the meeting at 5:30pm at the Marianas High School Gymnasium. [B][I](PR)[/I][/B]
