[B]Want to quit smoking? [/B]

If you use tobacco, and you’re ready to quit, or if someone you care about is ready to quit—help is available, through the Community Guidance Center’s Tobacco Cessation Program. The Tobacco Cessation Program begins its next six-week cycle today, Oct. 17. Sessions will take place every Monday until Nov. 17. Call 323-QUIT (7848). (PR)

[B]Deadline for Sengebau poetry contest[/B]

The 8th Annual Sengebau Poetry Competition will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, at the American Memorial Park Visitors Center Theatre. The competition was re-scheduled to take place during CNMI Humanities Month. Participating students and schools are asked to confirm their involvement by Friday, Oct. 21, 2011.
