Man’amko gear up for Halloween

The senior citizens on Saipan are gearing up for their Halloween celebration.

Aging Office program coordinator Walter Manglona said that for this year’s celebration, the man’amko will have different games to play to enjoy Halloween.

Manglona said the Saipan Seniors Advisory Council have already handed out solicitations for prizes to various establishments.

According to Manglona, they are looking at “possibly” having the man’amko’s Halloween celebration outside the Aging Center to “add a little twist” to the celebration.

But Manglona noted that the congregates have always celebrated Halloween at the Aging Center due to convenience.

He said the man’amko always need to be in a place where they have immediate access to the restroom and chairs so they don’t get easily tired.

Manglona encouraged business establishments to give donations in cash or in-kind to help the congregates in their Halloween celebration.
