Parked car burglarized

Crime Stoppers is seeking the community’s assistance for information on a burglary and theft incident that occurred on a car parked outside a residence in As Terlaje.

Last Sept. 28 around midnight, the victim, a 33-year-old local male, parked his 2005 beige Toyota Corolla outside his residence. Later that morning, around 7am, the victim found his car window shattered and IT&E phone cards stolen.

The phone cards are described as long distance and prepaid phone cards. The cards are in unit values of $5 and $10 each. The total amounts stolen were over 1,500 phone cards worth over $10,000. The victim’s black pouch containing his wallet, driver’s license, passport, credit card, $150 cash, and three cell phones—a Nokia, a Samsung, and a Motorola—were also taken.
